CTi on Winning Team for Department of Energy Contract

Pittsburgh, PA- Contemporary Technologies, inc, a small business based in Pittsburgh, PA, announced today that it was one of five companies selected by the United States Department of Energy for a five year ITES contract to outsource all IT functions for the DOE's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) facilities in Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV. The total award, which includes a three year base period with two option years, is estimated to be valued at $75 million dollars with option years and tasking growth.

The contract will be managed by prime contractor ProLogic, Inc., a Fairmont, WV based 8(a) company. Other contractors on the project include RS Information Systems, Titan Corporation, Performance Results Corporation.

"One of the key areas that we are targeting over the next five years is improving and strengthing the data environment for NETL.
